BeInstrumental Foundation works with the community in a collaborative effort to provide music education and resources to aspiring artist.
Why BeInstrumental?
Funding for the arts and music within our local school districts is at an all-time low.
Too many students do not have the money to afford a musical instrument and schools do not have the resources to allow them to pursue musical education. In fact, many districts have cutback – or have completely eliminated music all together in elementary and junior high schools.
This is why BeInstrumental exists. Our mission is to ensure that every student has a musical education and to provide schools with the resources needed to teach music.

The BeInstrumental Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to harnessing the power of the arts by providing aspiring musician’s programs with educational opportunities, mentoring and the financial resources to pursue their music ambitions. Founded in 2009 with our headquarters in Toledo, Ohio, emerged as a result of
alarming cuts in funding for in-school music instruction and the need for quality music and arts education as part of the core curriculum for every student. Schools with low-achieving and disadvantaged students are often the first to lose their art and music programs. BeInstrumental seeks to make music education a reality for young artist who would otherwise have limited or no exposure to the arts.
